Releases
How long does it take for my music to go live?
Usually 24 to 72 hours on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer once the release is approved; final timing depends on each platform. TikTok and Instagram can take up to five business days. We recommend scheduling two to three weeks ahead. More in how to get your music on Spotify and the release checklist.
Which files and data do I need?
A WAV or FLAC master (16 or 24 bit, 44.1 kHz or higher), a 3000 × 3000 px cover and the release metadata: title, artists, featured artists, songwriters, genre, language and the explicit flag. If you don’t have ISRC or UPC codes, we assign them at no extra cost. Guide: music metadata.
Is there a limit on releases?
No. You can release singles, EPs and albums as often as you like within your distribution agreement.
Can I schedule the release date?
Yes. You set the date when you upload the release; we recommend at least two to three weeks of margin so you can pitch the track and fix any review notes.
Can a live release be corrected?
Yes. Metadata, artwork and audio updates are delivered to the platforms, which apply them at their own pace. Changes to the ISRC or the primary artist are the most delicate and best avoided.
Can I sign up from any country?
Yes. Andina Music LLC is based in Florida and works with artists and labels worldwide.
Rights, royalties and payouts
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. Andina Music only receives the authorizations needed to distribute and administer your content under your agreement. There’s no transfer of ownership of the master or the composition.
How and when do I get paid?
Platforms report with a one- to two-month delay. Royalties are paid periodically under your agreement, with detailed reports in your dashboard. Details in music royalties and reports.
Can I see where my income comes from?
Yes. Reports are broken down by platform, territory, period, release and track, with downloadable history.
Switching from another distributor
Can I move my catalog from another distributor?
Yes. We re-deliver the catalog with the same ISRC and UPC codes and the same metadata, and coordinate the takedown at your previous distributor. Process: switch music distributor.
Will I keep my streams and playlists?
Usually yes, when codes and metadata match and the takedown happens after the new delivery is live. It depends on each platform, so it can’t be guaranteed in every case.
YouTube Content ID
What is Content ID and what is it for?
It’s YouTube’s system that identifies your recording in other people’s videos and applies the policy you choose, usually monetization. Full explanation in YouTube Content ID.
Is all content eligible?
No. Eligibility depends on ownership of the recording, exclusivity (samples and non-exclusive beats are usually not eligible) and YouTube’s policies. Every case is reviewed before activation and it isn’t guaranteed.
Record labels
Do you work with labels that have several artists?
Yes. Several artists and sub-labels in one account, catalog ingestion, consistent metadata and reports by artist and release. See distribution for labels.
What languages is support available in?
Support is provided by email in English and Spanish, before, during and after every release.
