How to prepare your first release
- Final master in WAV or FLAC (16/24 bit, 44.1 kHz or higher). Check that there are no unnecessary silences at the start or end and no audible clipping.
- Cover art: a 3000 × 3000 px square image with no URLs, prices or platform logos.
- Complete metadata: the exact artist name (the same as on your profiles), featured artists, songwriters, genre, language and the explicit flag. Guide: music metadata.
- Release date two to three weeks out, so you can pitch the track to editorial playlists. Full timeline: music release checklist.
Producers and collaborations
Featured artists, producers and songwriters are entered as release metadata. That way each person shows up correctly on the platforms and the rights information is on record from day one. Featured artists are never typed into the title: they go in the artist fields so each one links to their own profile.
Coming from another distributor?
You can move your catalog while keeping the same ISRC and UPC codes, so the platforms recognize the recordings as the same ones. The process is explained in how to switch music distributor.
Your rights and your earnings
Your master recording and your composition remain yours. Andina Music only receives the authorizations needed to distribute and administer your content under your agreement, and pays out the royalties the platforms report, with itemized statements in your dashboard. There are no guarantees on plays, playlist placements or revenue: those depend on each platform and on your audience.

Can I sign up from any country?
Yes. Create your account, upload your release and we’ll review it.
How many releases can I publish?
As many as you want within your distribution agreement: singles, EPs and albums.
Do I need to be on Spotify already?
No. If it’s your first release, your artist profile is created when the release is delivered; if you already have one, send us the profile link so the release is attached to it and no duplicate is created.
How and when do I get paid?
Platforms report with a one- to two-month delay. Royalties are paid periodically under your agreement, with detailed reports in your dashboard. See royalties and reports.
Can I release a cover?
Yes, as long as you hold the corresponding license for the composition. The cover gets its own ISRC and the original songwriters must be credited.
